Bench AS308-2 intend for automatic MIG / MAG welding "downhill" of longitudinal seams of thin-walled pipes made of low-alloy steels up to 500 mm long, 100-500 mm in diameter with a pipe wall thickness of 1.0 ... 3.0 mm.

Welding is performed "downhill". Console tilt angle - 30 degrees.
